Sunday Saves: Taking a Time Out
It seems life is back to full swing, thankful for a vaccination that allows us more freedom to get out and to see our kids back in sports fully this season. Nordic season has launched for our girls as well as a new interest of basketball for Charlie. With a busy holiday season upon us, client meetings not coming to a slow and prioritization for taking time outs, here is what we’re saving this week.
Impromptu Trip to NYC for the Holidays
Thanks to a few close friends that are able to share all the inside details, Jesse and I are headed to the big city for a few days of inspiration, holiday cheer and a moment to unwind. Sometimes these last minute trips are the best!
A few of our stops will include:
Radio City to see the Rockettes
Bryant Park Winter Village
Rockefeller with a rooftop bar
Stroll by The Plaza to visit the Champagne Bar
Skating in Central Park
Rolfs for the spectacular Christmas Scene once inside
Eataly – if we have time

Jkath Holiday Gift Guide
We’ve shared a few of our favorite items, some of which I have already grabbed for gifting this season (assuming I already own it:). It’s a quick and easy go to resource, take a look and don’t wait too ling to plan your shopping. Shipping delays are bound to happen this season!
What We’re Binging
After all, sometimes a mindless check out is all we need. Cozy up on a weekend night with a good show and popcorn. Sharing a few series WORTH the watch.
Impeachment – American Crime Story detailing the impeachment of Bill Clinton through the eyes of Monica Lewinsky and the other women of this time.
Succession – Season Three, a bit slower than the first two seasons, but we have to see where this goes. It is definitely worth the watch, and if you haven’t watched the first two seasons, well – get binging.
Narcos Mexico – Season Three is here. We can’t seem to get enough of the drug trafficking shows, and this one is fascinating too. We just started season one, so we will be busy getting caught up.

Where We’re Going
I love local holiday events this time of year. It’s also a great way to support the theatre community while giving our kids the gift of community, culture and entertainment while spending quality time together.
Children’s Theatre Annual Holiday Show – Annie, heartfelt and always so well done in this theatre. All ages added bonus.
Circus Jueventas featuring Blizzard as their holiday show in St. Paul
Departments at Daytons Makers Market is OPEN.
Chris Isaac Holiday Show at Treasure Island. Because why not, we may end up waiting for him to perform Wicked Game.
