Sunday Saves: Old Homes; New Life
Most of our renovation portfolio holds the content of old homes and new life. We’ve discovered a niche in working with families looking to reinvent old spaces and bring back traditional elements to give their homes another 100 years of living. Today we’re taking you BTS of a current project our team is working tirelessly on.
1925 Colonial Transformation

This check flooring is a limestone mosaic, with an installation in our #jkfairmountavenue renovation foyer. We are bringing back traditional elements for this St. Paul Colonial home. Additionally, we’re dreaming up a unique ceiling featuring in the second-story addition to tying in the new construction to the existing elements of this home.

It’s a Vibe, Moody Interiors
Inside our #jkfairmountavenue renovation, we’re taking the mudroom to a new level. With custom-designed cabinetry that will be built in our cabinet shop, forest-inspired wallpaper print from Sandberg Wallpaper, large limestone pavers for flooring, and decorative wall paneling to name a few of the details. You can watch our recent reel here as we prep for in-floor heat and the pavers to be installed.

Lighting and Tile Enhancements
There are many details going into this home, but we’re sharing a sneak peek of some of the lighting and tiles from early design boards we pulled together. Mudroom and kitchen island lighting with a zellige backsplash throughout will not only add texture but a timeless approach for years to come.
