Sunday Saves: Minimalist Fall Decor

Before you get too far, let’s level set. Do you love a pumpkin spice latte? Perhaps you are more of a pumpkin cold brew fan. Either way, lets’ go!

With temperatures cooling off, our thoughts turn to that cozy feeling of rich warm colors and textures of the season. Think of fires, sweaters and being wrapped up in a blanket. The best and most cost-effective ways to transition your home into the autumn season are to simply switch out your accessories. Below are a few easy options.

Front Door Decor

Start with the great outdoors. Decorate your entryway with a wreath, add a doormat, line your porch steps with pumpkins and add a fall planter. Your guests will be greeted by an abundance of fall colors before they even enter your home.

I love the simplicity along with the texture and color of this wreath and doormat.

Pumpkin Decorations

Outside complete? Check – let’s move inward! Our friend the pumpkin is a versatile gourd. It is fun. It is festive. Best yet – it looks appropriate everywhere – on a bookshelf, in a bathroom, throughout the kitchen and even on top of a fancy platter.

Fall Accessories

Keep it clean & simple. Add candles and change out your vases to fall branches and sticks. Properly layering of pillows, throws, and textures is another easy trick. These items can be changed out from season to season.

You can even add that fall vibe with theses tranistional towels that can be used in the kitchen or in the bathroom.

Fall options truly are endless and don’t overthink it. Make it fun and practical – it’s your home. At the end of the day what brings you joy should be your guide.

Some of the resources we link to may earn us a small commission. For that we are thankful, but would never push items we aren’t truly passionate about, and likely have already given it a test drive.
