Sunday Saves: What We're Cookin' Up
Week of November 9th, 2020
Baby it's cold outside! We're spending ways to maximize our time inside, today we're sharing all the ways we're staying busy and what we're cooking up inside and in our clients homes.
Cookbooks For The Season
We're sharing three of our favorite cookbooks, on a regular rotation around here. Not only are we loving their books, their IG feeds have tasty inspiration too.
Half Baked Harvest Super Simple- We RAVED all last year about this one, and I've even memorized some of the recipes by now.
Hungry for Harbor Country - a lovely gift from one of our clients and we love supporting a Midwestern Chef, featuring recipes from the coast of Southwestern Michigan. This one even made it on our Gift Guide for Her this season.
Also, you may have heard, but we're moving! We're busy packing and prepping for temporary living for the next several months. Our home will be ready sooner, but we will not be able to move in until after we showcase it on the Parade of Homes Tour Spring 2021. That being said we're relying on tips and tools from our previous blog post, Seven Meals When You Don't Have a Kitchen. Not only is this great for moving and remodeling, but useful to stock up on hearty meals for the season.
What We're Binging
Not only are we binging, but when I mentioned this on our IG stories last week, it topped the most DM's we've had in months over any single topic. Clearly we're not alone. Add The Queen's Gambit to your playlist, and wait for it .. the costumes are so good. Much like my next favorite show, The Crown - season 4 kicks off on Sunday!
2020 Holiday Gift Guide Round up
We've launched three gift guides featuring some of our favorites from 2020, and a few things on our own wish lists. All three gift guides are featured here, but don't fret, we're still working on the gift guide for Him.
Dayton Ranch - We're BACK!
Our award wining owners suite finished in 2019 has landed us a return visit to this home, in Dayton, Minnesota. This time we're focusing on the kitchen, with a modern farmhouse aesthetic in mind. A few materials we're excited to incorporate are soapstone, neutral toned painted cabinets, gold and brass finishes and customized paneled appliances (fingers crossed for refrigerator columns in this space). Kicking this one off in 2021.
