Sunday Saves: Brands We Have an Eye on at KBIS
Week of January 12, 2020:
Jesse and I are headed to KBIS this week, the industries largest kitchen and bath show in Las Vegas. This will be my first time there. Jesse has been in years past, but we're definitely excited to see new products hitting the scene, innovation and connect with brand partners. Not to mention the opportunity to spend quality time with our colleagues in the industry, both local and few IG meetups we can't wait for.
I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of the stops that are on the top of our list this week, things we're scouting for a few new clients in 2020 and trends we believe you should know about. Not to mention our own home build, which we will start digging in the Spring.
We originally met the Monogram team Fall 2017 when we traveled to their design experience in Chicago. We met Chef Jon and the whole team for an intensive training session including cooking demos, a VIP dinner and mingling with other industry professionals. We became hooked on the product and the brand has continued to align with our own in many ways. If you haven't read our private dinner recap we held in Spring 2018 at a client home, check it out here. Chef Jon traveled to MN for an in home Chef party, it was a blast!
Monogram has not only launched a new, sleek and updated logo, they're launching TWO new collections at KBIS.
The Statement Collection features bold brass accents, enlarged viewing windows and edge to edge handles. I have to admit, this collection I have my eye on as a seamless integration to our custom cabinetry we design and build in house.
The Minimalist Collection boasts flush installation, and expansive glass with a modern take. I love this in a traditional setting, to blend the two design styles. I've had my eye on the 30" integrated glass panel fridge for some time now. Looking at my Pinterest feed, I've pinned this image several times.
We've had tremendous success with the HanStone collection in 2019 as well as our new reveal of #DrewAve featured in the Spring Parade of Homes Tour. They have three new collections coming, they are so on brand and I will be running, not walking to their booth next week. Fun fact, all of their designs in the boutique collection are named after bustling design centric neighborhoods .. Monterey, Soho, Yorkville. This product is also made in North America, we can get behind the local(ish) vibe of this brand.
We were excited to partner with Kraus USA in late 2019 as well, for a 2020 reveal we have in the works. The recent installation of their products has us coming back for more. Sleek, matte designs are spot on with our modern traditional design aesthetics.
LG Craft Ice + Wardrobe Styler
Fall 2019 we traveled to Napa to visit the HQ for LG's new collection, Signature Kitchen Suite. While we're loving their new Sous Vide collection, we're equally looking forward to their new 2020 releases of the craft ice maker (heck yeah!), and the wardrobe styler. I'd consider this a small appliance, one that can easily fit into a laundry space or walk in closet, you can easily steam on the go! This is defiantly on our new home wish list for 2020.
That's a wrap for now, there're so many more new innovative products hitting the scene. We hope to see you in Las Vegas. If you're headed there, drop us a message. Otherwise keep an eye on our up to date product drops and our full recap once we return.
