Watch Movies at Vali-Hi Drive-In

Bring your appetite for $1 hot dogs and cash (credit cards are not accepted), take some pictures in the photo booth and then settle in for two movies, starting at dusk and extending into the early morning hours. When was the last time (or ever!) you went to a drive in movie? For a complete list of local drive-in's, check it out here.

Attend a Small-Town Festival

Small towns seem to have the best festivals around. Re-enactments of Great Northfield Minnesota Bank Raid of 1876 are the highlight of “Defeat of Jesse James Days” in Northfield from Sept. 8 -12.

Music and Movies in the Minneapolis Parks

This is the perfect summer for movies and music in the park. Various parks across Minneapolis will be featuring movies to entertain the kids and adults all summer long. Expect some big music names at the Lake Harriet Bandshell on Friday nights in August. Here's the schedule so far.
