Lake of The Isles Attic
Updated: Sep 9, 2019
We were so excited to take on this project this past summer. A local interior design firm, Studio M Interiors, reached out and referred us to this project and we knew it was just the fit and the type of work we love to do. While we do a lot of our own interior design work, we love collaborating with other professionals locally allowing our build team an opportunity to do what they do best. This includes customization and all one of a kind pieces from our cabinet shop, including the master bath vanity and large dresser in the center of the bedroom that doubles as an entertainment center storing the TV. The clients had a vision to reinvent their third story attic, creating a spa like sanctuary of a master bedroom and en suite bathroom.
Before we got started we captured a few before images, always a favorite moment:
Things got real and messy pretty fast, we constructed an exterior access to the third story. Thankfully this was a summer project and conditions were in our favor.
Once we put it all back together and incorporated the design selections from Studio M, the end result was worth the wait, and more gorgeous and luxurious than we ever dreamed it to be. In light of our partnership with Jeffrey Court, we were elated with their choice of tile. The beveled field tile in a 3x6 was used throughout the master bathroom shower and bathtub surround. We love the bright, monochromatic vibe throughout this space, including our warm walnut vanity.
The windows in this space opened up to the tree tops, also making a perfect niche for a workspace on a cold fall morning. We adore our clients added touches with a few pieces from one our favorite retailers, Anthroplogie.
We are so thankful for dream clients and dream renovations like this one. #jamesave
