After partcipating in the Midwest Home Luxury Remodeler Tour last August, we met our new clients... Tom + Martha Venema. What appeared to be a typical kitchen remodel, turned into an entire main floor facelift. The clients were passionate about staying in their townhome and really enjoyed the main floor living with additional lower level space for entertaining. Our commitment to our clients was to transform the space, while cautiously adding design details and truly allow the client a hands on experience in all of the details, schedule and overall transformation.
The before images show a variety of angles, including the kitchen, small dining space inside the kitchen, non-load bearing wall with appliances and cabinetry, and dining room angle on the other side of this wall. The wall is scheduled to come down to expand the kitchen + dining space into one larger usable space convenient for entertaining.
Below our team is getting after the demo, in a hurry! It doesn't take long to take a functional space apart, but the fun begins once we have a clean slate to put the pieces back together. Note: It's not uncommon for our clients to ask if they can participate in this process, there must be something theraputic about saying goodbye to the old!
In progress with custom cabinetry installed, waiting for countertop installation and appliances to be delivered.
The finished product, truly a transformed modern white kitchen. Cambria Britannicca™ Quartz counter tops, Restoration Hardware light fixtures, Jkath Design Build custom cabinetry + kitchen island, new hardwood floors, accent painted wall and statement hardware. This is what we call a kitchen 'retreat' and a true collaboartion of our team and the homeowners vison coming together.
We would be remiss if we didn't mention our cabinet shop. One of our many unique qualities, we custom design + build all cabinetry in our shop. Our skilled team of craftsman can create cabinetry to fit all designs and jobs.
