Minneapolis Tudor Kitchen Refresh
This South Minneapolis family spends a lot of time in their kitchen, with teenage kids making their own meals the kitchen has become the heart of the home. The updates were necessary and exactly what this family had hoped for with input from everyone. All new custom white painted cabinetry with white oak accents for contrast make this new space special for years to come. Finishing touches include polished nickel hardware and lighting, while preserving the original parquet flooring.

This old house had a lot of time and attention once we were able to demo the existing kitchen. Finding floors and walls out of alignment our carpentry crew worked tirelessly to perfect this new space. Additionally, we sourced similar original flooring online to patch under previous appliances, sand and refinish the new pieces to match the existing flooring. While we were a little uncertain if this would turn out – the floors are stunning. Preservation wins again.

Furthermore, these clients were among many in the COVID bubble, the supply chain is broken – and patience was key in this project while our team hustled to complete this kitchen and return it back to this family for total enjoyment.
Added wood elements and a cozy coffee niche were creative enhancements suggested by our design team to break up the all white design scheme, we love the added warmth.

In the end we couldn’t more thrilled with the new kitchen space, clean and fresh for years to come. A complete list of selections in this kitchen can be found here:
