Jeffery Court Tile Reveal

The new Jeffery Court Chapter Seven cubist collection is now live. This collection was inspired by the Avant-Garde Movement from the early 20th century.

We were so excited when Jeffery Court reached out to us to help them with this reveal. They flew us out to California to see their showroom and warehouse. It was our first time visiting and it was so much fun to see this warehouse in full swing. For this collection, we filmed a short Youtube video. Before heading out to California to see the collection, we were briefed on the collection and the roots of cubism. Jesse and I were rehearsing for days before we even boarded the plane to Cali. No surprise at all: this new collection was beautifully curated. Once we were able to see and touch the tile in person, everything started flowing naturally.

We are so excited to finally share with you and show you how this movement inspired this collection. We couldn’t stop talking about the client work in front of us now to spec these new tiles. We’re eager to install, and we know this collection will be a hit!

We had a full 2 days of prep, rehearsing, hair, make-up and filming, and a few bloopers to keep it real. Our new friends, Amanda with Revolver PR and Patty with Jeffrey Court made us feel right at home.

Back to the Chapter 7 release, the mosaics in this chapter were designed to highlight the geometric shapes multiple angles and perception of depth found in artwork from the cubism movement. Keeping these themes in mind, the Jeffery Court‘s Chapter Seven emerged.

See our favorites from the new collection below. We can’t wait to see these tiles in our clients homes and what space they create with them. Obsessed with the modern Herringbone is an understatement. I can see this being a very popular pick, especially with the recent herringbone back splash trend.

Jeffrey Court partnered with none other than Oceanside Glass for this collection. Oceanside Glass is located in Southern California. They are the premier glass tile manufacturer known for the handcrafted glass tile and art designs each piece from this collection is made from 100% recycled glass. They are bringing sustainability to this line with Jeffery court which makes this collection stand out even more. The mosaic features a basket pattern interweaves each glass piece into the other hence the name perpendicular mosaic. (I think I say this verbatim in the video 🙂

For this collection we recommend using a non-sanded grout for the abstract and Avant mosaics to ensure each grout joint receives coverage and for any mosaics that include metal be sure to keep the film over the metal pieces while grouting to add an extra layer of

protection.
