California Inspired Kitchen Update
Our clients love to travel to California, specifically Palm Springs. It was no surprise once we got to know them, their dream oasis would bring in the clean lines, modern architecture paired with warm and cool tones to refresh this space for decades to come.
What started as a few causal home visits, listening to our clients dream up a future home for their family – which provided a much larger lot size and peaceful views of tress and forests from the backyard than their previous home, turned into a swift planning process to deliver a finished home before their oldest was off to college.
As mentioned above, the end goal was serenity, calm vibes paired with bold statements that you can see in the all new black windows, luxe cabinetry details with v groove dimension and rift white oak on the island, brass hardware for contrast and sophistication. I’d say this space is exactly what California had in mind.
The above image pairs a black stained white oak bar cabinet with delicate and feminine wallpaper sourced from Caselio – our client was committed to finding just the perfect pattern for this space and it’s a win.
Additional spaces we refreshed include the dining room, which entailed removing the main dividing wall to the kitchen and opening up the entrance to the foyer. A completed reimagined living room, new windows and patio doors, a removal of a tiny (yet convenient) bathroom, all new fireplace surround, flooring, lighting and a paint refresh.
