5 First Impressions
Home remodels can be fun, sometimes overwhelming and often a little stressful. When considering the various rooms and decor, remember first impressions really can be last impressions. These are often small spaces allowing you to save on the budget and make an impact at the same time.Your front or rear entry are important spaces, and need to be well thought out using smart storage solutions, durable high traffic materials and can be visually appealing all at once. Many of our clients projects start with their ideal built in cabinetry. Compact storage to hide personal items and custom built to fit your space uniquely. Thankfully, our cabinet shop has the ability to customize this allowing flexibility and a unique flare to our client jobs. We’ve included 5 of our remodeled homes to showcase a variety of entry decor and storage solutions.1. The use of a window bench cannot be underestimated. Added storage underneath and easy access for the kids. Also a great sitting space to tie shoes and pull on boots.

2. Add a decorative bench and wall hooks above. Easy for guests to use when removing shoes and a perfect place to hang coats and purses while visiting. Let’s not ignore these amazing walls, Hygge and West wall coverings make a statement and one to remember.

3. This home achieved tall lockers from floor to ceiling to maximize space. Some of the winter or less used items cab be stored high seasonally, including bug spray and sunscreen. In smaller homes, store high.

4. Smaller homes don’t always have room for additional lockers and storage, but you can still make it appealing. A casual dining table with a pop of color and chandelier lighting make this space inviting. Not too fancy, and your guests already feel like they’re at home.
5. Crushing on this Benjamin Moore hale navy wall, custom bench and this patterned rug, yes please! Don’t be afraid to add color, accessories can always be swapped out inexpensively once you tire of them or the trend changes. Have fun and get creative!
