Minneapolis Addition
Alright guys.. this is a blast from the past, one of our earlier BIG jobs. Like any other opportunity, we took it seriously, and poured our guts into this one. What would become a move into the world of custom home builds and certainly a portfolio builder… ended up being on the Parade of Homes Remodeler Tour.

Right, we’ve seen it. We drive by these cute city rambler homes daily, this one was 900 square feet. This young family, however, knew they were on a gold mine. Location is everything on the Minneapolis/Edina border, a whole house reno was a must to make this their forever home.
No joke, we were a little nervous going into this project. We knew going into it some of the challenges we would face. The big challenge was the area had wet + unstable soil and the home had to be reinforced. Furthermore, the homeowners wanted to keep the finished basement intact as a place to keep their personal items. Doing an entire first floor demo and second floor addition with a dry basement, got it!

The roof comes off, new windows will be added as well as the second story addition.

Second story framing, this was a big day. Starting to see the new home take form.
Meanwhile, the first floor has been completely torn apart.. some highlights here.

Front of the home taking shape. Second story addition, new windows + front steps.

The finished kitchen space, one of our most used images. All custom cabinetry made in our shop, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, custom barn door + new appliances. It shines!

Custom laundry room added to the second floor.

Second floor master bath, complete with Jkath custom cabinetry.

Make an entry.. the rear entryway is decked out with our custom cabinets, tile, trim, and door.

So in the end, #kickbutt curb appeal, we hardly recognize this home. We were so pleased with the end result, over 1,800 square feet, happy clients, and simple validation to go BIG or go home.
