What a delight to meet so many great faces at the Minneapolis Home & Garden Show over the course of the last few days. We now have the added honor of receiving “Best in Show” for our booth. Macassar Ebony Vanity

Our booth at the 2012 Minneapolis Home & Garden Show has different elements and styles. Pictured here is a contemporary vanity made out of Macassar Ebony. It grows in Asia and is one of the finest woods in the world. Unlike the African Ebony (Madagascar) it has orange streaks that enhance its character. Modern uses are largely restricted to small items, particularly musical instruments.
